Udaipur. Doctors at the Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences (PIA), Umrada, have successfully performed a woman's kidney removal operation.
PIA chairman Ashish Aggarwal said a 58-year-old woman resident of Dungarpur had a kidney problem for the past few years. . She also went to Ahmedabad for her treatment but the cost of treatment there was told to be one to two lakh rupees. Recently, acquaintances of the woman advised to show her at the Pacific Hospital, Umrara. The woman reached PIA on this. Investigation revealed that the patient's first cervix cancer has been performed and she takes radiation therapy. On this, Urologist Dr. Vikas Gupta in Pia extracted his kidney by telescopic method which is called Laproscopic Fractectomy. Operation has been done free of cost under Bhamashah Yojana. The patient's condition is improving.
