Jaipur. Professor RK Kothari, who became the vice-chancellor of Rajasthan University, is helping to pay the fees of students by not taking their salary from the university. Actually, they have distributed more than twenty lakh rupees of their salary to more than three and a half hundred students. Explain that in this initiative, special rules were set to promote higher education of daughters.

In July 2017, Professor Kothari announced not to take his full salary after assuming charge of RU Vice Chancellor. His intention behind this was that from the university from which he studied here for nearly thirty years as a professor, while returning to this society as Vice Chancellor. Let us know that for 31 months, Kothari has been putting her full salary in the education of needy and promising students. For this, Professor Kothari established an economic aid fund at RU. Due to this, a scheme was started to distribute the scholarship on 2 girl students to a student as per the committee's decision. Under this, checks of scholarship worth Rs 6000 are being distributed to the meritorious students studying in UG and PG classes every month. So far an amount of Rs 22 lakh has been disbursed to 363 students.

Vice Chancellor RK Kothari said that he is satisfied with the decision to give the salary amount as scholarship because it brings a lot of happiness on the faces of many students and Could smile. Scholarship students are also applauded by the Vice Chancellor's move. At the same time, students said that despite being talented, many students were not able to complete their studies due to financial conditions, but due to this scholarship, they will now be able to complete their studies. The scholarship is not being distributed only to the students by the Vice Chancellor, but a scholarship is also being given to one student on 2 girls. Kothari's move has also been appreciated by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
