Udaipur (Udaipur). Former Higher Education Minister and MLA Kiran Maheshwari has described the relief given by the state government in the electricity bills in water with very little and half hearted relief. The state government has failed to understand the economic crisis of middle and lower class families. The government is paying crores of rupees to the power generating companies in the name of contract without production. But it is holding back from giving relief to the consumers.
Kiran Maheshwari demanded from the Chief Minister that completely waive fixed charges and minimum charges in electricity bills for 3 months. Provide full discount of 200 200 units to all consumers for three months. The government should also give 100 percent discount on the water bills of domestic consumers for three months from March. There is no real relief from postponement of bills of consumers consuming only 150 units.
