General Budget -2020: Politicians’ reactions


New Delhi. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented her second budget. Many politicians have reacted to this budget in various ways from social media. There have been mixed reactions of the country's politicians on the general budget –
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that this budget will prove to be a milestone for the country.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated PM Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for giving an excellent budget to the country.
Harsimrat Singh Badal said that since 2014 when the Modi government has come, since then it is making new records. The first female finance minister gave a speech without drinking water for 3 hours. This was historical in itself.
Rahul Gandhi said that the government only talks. Nothing is solid. There is nothing about employment in the budget, there is no central idea.
Ahmed Patel said that at a time when India is reeling from the economic recession, the budget speech focused more on praising the PM rather than helping the common citizen.
The decision of the government on power generation was attributed by the Congress leader.
After the budget speech, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said, one and a half hour old slogans were heard.
