Embassy of India in touch with 138 Indians stranded in Japanese cruise


Tokyo. The Indian embassy in Tokyo said on Tuesday that it was in contact with 138 Indians aboard the Japanese cruise, which have been kept isolated near Japan after some cases of corona virus infection were reported. A total of 3,711 people are on board the Kuz ship, 138 of which are Indians.

These Indians include passengers and crew members. The ship reached the coast of Japan last week. A passenger aboard this ship was found infected with the corona virus, after which the ship has been kept separate. The infected person went to Hong Kong last month.

Around 60 people aboard the ship were found infected with the virus on Monday. The number of infected people aboard the plane has risen to 130. On a question whether the Indian Embassy is making any arrangements to take the Indians aboard the ship, an official said, the situation is being closely monitored.

The officer said, a total of 138 Indians on the ship Huh. The Indian Embassy is in touch with him. He said that no person on board the ship has been found infected with the corona virus. The Indian embassy in Tokyo had on Monday tweeted that Indians were on board the vessel.
